The Spotsylvania Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They took a serious blow against King George, falling 63-31. Spotsylvania has struggled against the Foxes recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading King George to victory were Eli Trulow and Aiden Wright. Trulow scored 16 points, while Wright scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals. It was the first time this season that Trulow scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Xavier Pryor, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Spotsylvania dropped their record down to 2-15 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for King George, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Chancellor the next time they take the court. Spotsylvania will head out to face the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Foxes will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
