On Tuesday, Greenbrier Christian Academy strolled past Gateway Christian with points to spare, taking the game 48-31.
Greenbrier Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jonathan Ashe, who scored 19 points along with four steals and three blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ashe has scored at least a third of Greenbrier Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Max Vinson, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Even though Hampton Christian Academy has not done well against Atlantic Shores Christian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Hampton Christian Academy came out on top against Atlantic Shores Christian by a score of 67-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Greenbrier Christian Academy pushed their record up to 7-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hampton Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
