On Thursday, the Whitehall Vikings were out to avenge their 39-36 loss to the Montague Wildcats from their previous meeting last December, but they had no such luck. Whitehall ended up on the wrong side of a painful 60-35 walloping at Montague's hands. This makes it the second defeat in a row for the Vikings.
The defeat dropped Whitehall's record to 6-8. The win bumped Montague's record up to 12-4.
Whitehall is staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Hart. Whitehall fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game as the odds are decidedly against them. Montague will stay at home against North Muskegon on Tuesday. North Muskegon took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Montague's good fortune.
