She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted  over her last 12  contests.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Becca Hinshaw, who  fired off two  home runs while going 2-for-4. Those  two  home runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Lily Higgins, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  double.
Biggsville West Central's win was  their eighth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 25-3.
