While fans of Wilber-Clatonia might be used to big wins, the 47-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Wilber-Clatonia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jameson Conway, who scored nine points along with two steals. It was the first time this season that Conway grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was Aiden Zajicek, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Wilber-Clatonia now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Fairbury, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Wilber-Clatonia will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Milford is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Fairbury, they will head out on the road to challenge the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Heartland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Thursday.
