  Jhett Wells and  Daniel Thomason were among the main playmakers for Fruita Monument as the former  went 8 of 16  en route to 27  points and the latter  went 10 for 12  on his way to 23  points and three  blocks. That makes it seven consecutive games in which  Wells has scored at least a third of Fruita Monument's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Karson Weddle, who  posted 11  points and five  steals.
Meanwhile, Rock Canyon didn't have quite enough to beat Dakota Ridge on Wednesday and fell  63-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  back in December of 2024 (55), the Jaguars still had to take the loss.
 Fruita Monument will need focus on slowing down  Kasen Lehman, one of several Rock Canyon players who made an impact when they last played. He  went 7 of 17  on his way to 20 points. Lehman is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last three games he's  played.  Jacob David was another key player,  putting up ten points along with eight  rebounds and four  steals.
 Fruita Monument's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Rock Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
