Ramarian Tillman was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also caught a touchdown. Tj Smith was in the mix as well, providing Fort Bend Christian Academy with two touchdowns.
St. John XXIII's defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 3.5 points per game. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
St. John XXIII will be playing at home against Lutheran South Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Kelly Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Kelly Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday.
