The Neighborhood House Charter Legends put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 38-28 victory over Prospect Hill Academy. 38 seems to be a good number for Neighborhood House Charter as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Neighborhood House Charter was led to victory by Karin Richardson and Alicia Browder. Richardson scored 19 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Browder dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Browder has scored at least a third of Neighborhood House Charter's points. Another player making a difference was Gianna Ortega, who scored four points along with three steals.
Neighborhood House Charter pushed their record up to 10-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Prospect Hill Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Neighborhood House Charter will head out on the road to square off against Roxbury Prep Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Prospect Hill Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
