The Moorestown Quakers will head out on the road to challenge the Shawnee Renegades at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moorestown will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Last Saturday, everything went Moorestown's way against the Eagles as the Quakers made off with a 55-31 win. 55 seems to be a good number for Moorestown as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Shawnee beat the 58-48 on Sunday. Given Shawnee's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the are ranked 331st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Moorestown is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Shawnee, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
Moorestown won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in January, slipping by the Renegades 36-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Moorestown since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
