The East Aces had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Kapaun Mt. Carmel 45-42. The win was just what East needed coming off of a 56-29 loss in their prior matchup.
Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ella Rudy, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Palace, who scored eight points.
East's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-45 victory vs. Northwest on the 9th. Kapaun Mt. Carmel has also already played their next contest, a 51-42 win against Bishop Carroll on the 9th.
