After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West, Seymour was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Northview Academy Cougars a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.
Makenna Wright was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
