Nueva Esperanza's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They fell to Masterman 54-49. Nueva Esperanza has not had much luck with Masterman recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Yuji Harrington continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Masterman, scoring 33 points. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Harrington has scored at least a third of Masterman's points. Charlie Adams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Nueva Esperanza bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Masterman, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nueva Esperanza will take on Hill Freedman World Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Masterman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin Towne at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
