Canyon View didn't get the result they wanted in their first game with Horizon on Thursday. They will be looking for a result a little better than the 2-0 loss they were dealt on Thursday when they meet later in the season. The result was an unpleasant reminder to they of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.
Canyon View now has a losing record at 5-6-1. As for Horizon, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canyon View will take on Westview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Westview is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Horizon, they will head out on the road to face off against Cactus Shadows at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cactus Shadows is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
