Benet Academy faced Prairie Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Redwings walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wolves. The Redwings haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Benet Academy's win bumped their record up to 29-2. As for Prairie Ridge, they moved to 25-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Benet Academy will square off against Joliet Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prairie Ridge, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Glenbard West at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
