On Friday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Kingwood had to settle for a 52-50 loss against Dakota Ridge. Kingwood has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Dakota Ridge can attribute much of their success to Ethan Berninger, who scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds. The contest was Berninger's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Schneider, who scored 13 points.
Kingwood's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Dakota Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Kingwood is on the road again on Saturday and play against Anderson at 10:00 a.m. on December 2nd. Anderson is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Dakota Ridge, they will take on Fort Bend Travis at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Fort Bend Travis is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
