The University Titans were the 33-31 winner over the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. University was dealt a 57-26 defeat at the hands of the Eagles on Friday. University has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Trinity Christian Academy to victory were Kaylin Spor and Haylee Morelli. Spor scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Morelli scored 30 points along with six assists and four steals. Desire Jackson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
University's loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13.
University will head out on the road to square off against the Wolf Pack at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Port presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Titans in Florida (the Wolf Pack are ranked 121st, while the Titans are ranked 625th). As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will square off against the Lions at TBD on Wednesday.
