Leading Vallejo to victory were Jasier Smith and David Buddha Bernstine III. Smith threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns, while Buddha Bernstine III picked up 124 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Smith hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for three straight games.
Del Norte's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Vallejo, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Del Norte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Vallejo will head out on the road to face off against Acalanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Acalanes presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Vallejo in California (Acalanes is ranked 134th, while Vallejo is ranked 434th).
