The Pembroke Dragons lost to the Byron-Bergen Bees back in January, but the Pembroke Dragons didn't allow the Byron-Bergen Bees the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Pembroke came out on top against Byron-Bergen by a score of 37-28. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pembroke.
Pembroke found their leader in underclassman Peyton Liss, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Liss also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Seneca Calderon was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Pembroke's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Byron-Bergen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Pembroke will head out on the road to face off against Oakfield-Alabama at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Byron-Bergen will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Attica at 7:00 p.m. on January 30, 2024.
