 Meanwhile, Lutheran put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season  on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Southfield Christian  a   15-0 shutout. The  victory was familiar territory for Lutheran who now have three in a row.
 Novi Christian Academy's loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
