The Reagan Bison's's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past Sunset, posting a 72-32 victory at home. Given Reagan's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Sunset is ranked 420th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Isaiah Lindor, who scored 24 points along with 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Martinez, who scored 12 points.
Reagan now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Sunset, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Reagan will head out on the road to face off against St. Brendan at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Brendan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Reagan likes a good challenge. As for Sunset, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against South Miami at 7:30 p.m.
