The Westminster Lions will face off against the Tustin Tillers at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Westminster knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Tustin likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Westminster made easy work of Santa Ana and carried off a 10-4 victory. Considering the Lions have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Emery Diaz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Samantha Reyes was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.
Tustin's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Westminster, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.
Tustin's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Westminster hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .314.
