It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 52-7, which was the final score in Lockland's's tilt against Ansonia on Friday. Lockland was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-7.
Damien Dawson threw for 65 yards on five of 17 attempts. Teni Obilaja was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards.
Lockland now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Ansonia, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Lockland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ansonia will stay at home for another week and welcome Mechanicsburg at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Mechanicsburg is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
