Mt. Pleasant got themselves on the board against Grant on Saturday, but Grant never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Oilers, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Mt. Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Grant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-5.

Mt. Pleasant didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-6 victory against DeWitt on the 3rd. As for Grant, they have also already played their next game, a 14-4 defeat against Elk Rapids on the 3rd.
