Shoals Christian has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Hatton Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Hopefully Shoals Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Shoals Christian earned a 60-52 win over Adamsville.
Sarah Davis (2025) was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 40 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Shoals Christian's points. Abby Owens was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Hatton had to suffer through a rough 65-35 loss at the hands of East Lawrence.
Shoals Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Hatton, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
