After a string of four wins, Princeton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trenton Central Tornadoes. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tornadoes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Trenton Central, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Princeton will take on West Windsor-Plainsboro South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Trenton Central, they will square off against Robbinsville on Friday.
