Rye is 0-10 against Harrison since May of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Garnets will welcome the Huskies at 4:30 p.m.
Things were looking good for Rye after they put the first run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Eastchester by a score of 6-5.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harrison). They put the hurt on Pelham Memorial with a sharp 19-2 win on Wednesday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Pelicans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Lia MondeLLa made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Mondella was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, Harrison let Gia Pinilla and Madi Miller run wild. Pinilla went 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Miller got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Pinilla has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Fionnuala Rallis, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Harrison was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
