The Shady Acres Christian Mavericks's road trip will continue as they head out to face The Covenant Preparatory School Knights at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Shady Acres Christian strolled past The Connection School of Houston with points to spare, taking the game 39-20. The win was just what Shady Acres Christian needed coming off of a 60-35 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, even though Lake Houston HomeSchool scored an imposing 76 points on Friday, The Covenant Preparatory School still came out on top. The Covenant Preparatory School slipped by Lake Houston HomeSchool 77-76.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The Covenant Preparatory School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tye Leatherman, who scored 18 points along with five steals. Lane Kisslinger was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Shady Acres Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for The Covenant Preparatory School, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
