Plainfield South extended their winning streak  to three  on Monday, bumping their season record up to 16-11 in the process. They walked away with  a   7-4  win over the Romeoville Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  14-1  back in April.
As for Romeoville, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record  this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.
 For Romeoville's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lillian Roberts, who  went 1-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
