Jett Taylor Turns in Season-Best Performance
Jett Taylor produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Grand Saline to the win on Friday. Taylor's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 184 rushing yards dating back to last season. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
The victory for Grand Saline keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Taylor and Grand Saline will square off against Chisum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Grand Saline picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Colt Boyd. Boyd's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 126 rushing yards dating back to last season.
For the season, Boyd has averaged 3.6 total tackles per game.

Meadows Made His Presence Known in Quitman's 28-25 Victory
Klayton Meadows continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his sixth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 101 rushing yards. He rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 160 yards and a touchdown on only 14 passes.
This year, Meadows has thrown 3 touchdowns while averaging 117.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 0.2 passing yards per game.

Lucas Pippin's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Edgewood over Grand Saline

Lone Oak was led to victory by Corbin Johnson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Johnson picked up 152 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 50 yards.
The win for Lone Oak keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Johnson and Lone Oak will face off against Quitman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
