The Chapman Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Spartanburg Christian Academy at home to the tune of 77-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Chapman.
Chapman's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colby Moon, who scored 13 points. Moon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Rashawn Cunningham was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The victory got Chapman back to even at 7-7. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chapman's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Carolina Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. Spartanburg Christian Academy and Greenwood Christian will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Greenwood Christian is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
