The Clover Blue Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Woodmont Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clover will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Clover can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They blew past Rock Hill, posting a 58-21 win on the road.
Landon Stone continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 197 yards while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Stone is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last ten games he's played.
Meanwhile, Woodmont had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Mauldin by a score of 34-21 on Friday. The victory was just what Woodmont needed coming off of a 64-25 loss in their prior matchup.
Woodmont's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tavorace Williams led the charge by rushing for 165 yards. Another player making a difference was Jordan Sink, who threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt.
Clover's win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.8 points per game. As for Woodmont, their victory bumped their record up to 5-5.
