Desert Christian Academy's defeat came about despite a quality game from Augustine Youssef, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Brown, who scored ten points.
Desert Christian Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Loma Linda Academy can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat River Springs 66-19 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Loma Linda Academy has posted since December 12, 2023.
Desert Christian Academy's record is now 14-7. As for Loma Linda Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.
Desert Christian Academy couldn't quite finish off Loma Linda Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 and fell 31-29. Can Desert Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
