The William Tennent Panthers had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Springfield Township 28-14 on Friday. The victory was just what William Tennent needed coming off of a 42-14 defeat in their prior game.
William Tennent's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Derrek Guenther, who rushed for 16 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 64 yards and a touchdown on only five passes.
William Tennent's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Springfield Township, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6.
William Tennent does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Springfield Township also has no future games currently scheduled.
