The New Lothrop Hornets lost against the Bendle Tigers back in January of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. New Lothrop took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bendle.
Bendle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Boyd, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Juma Mkakile, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
New Lothrop's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bendle, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
New Lothrop will be playing in front of their home fans against Hill-McCloy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bendle, they will head out on the road to face off against Bentley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
