The Public Safety Academy Phoenix's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 61-35 walloping at the hands of Redlands Adventist Academy. Public Safety Academy has not had much luck with Redlands Adventist Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Redlands Adventist Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Micah Brooks, who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks. Brooks is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarron Sumadia, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Public Safety Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.
Public Safety Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Redlands Adventist Academy will head out on the road to challenge Loma Linda Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
