Volleyball Recap: Burroughs Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Burroughs extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Lillah O'Grady. The Burros walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Barstow Aztecs on Thursday for which the team can thank O'Grady, who had 18 digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Burroughs had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-15, 25-19, 25-7.

Burroughs' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Barstow, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burroughs will challenge Temecula Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Barstow, they will head out to take on Academy for Academic Excellence at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
