While Lakeview's win against Lake Shore wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over the Shorians on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lakeview has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs this season. As for Lake Shore, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
