Basketball Recap: Louis Taylor Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Stratford

There's no place like home for White House, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Stratford Spartans by a score of 59-49 on Friday.

White House's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Louis Taylor, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Holt, who posted 12 points in addition to six assists and five steals.

White House was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

White House's record now sits at 4-6. As for Stratford, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
