Qwes Williams and Marcus Towns certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Williams dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Towns posted 11 points along with seven boards and four steals. Williams has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Johnathan Washington also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.
East Coweta's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Chapel Hill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.
East Coweta will be playing in front of their home fans against Westlake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westlake knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully East Coweta likes a good challenge. Chapel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
