Buckeye's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Morgan Penny, who scored six points, and Molly Danilovic who scored six points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Danilovic pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Buckeye's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Elyria Catholic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.
Buckeye will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Rocky River at 7:00 p.m. Rocky River presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Buckeye in Ohio (Rocky River is ranked 216th, while Buckeye is ranked 755th). As for Elyria Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Holy Name at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
