After a string of three wins, the Wilson Central Wildcats's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 81-52 loss at the hands of Lebanon. Wilson Central was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-25.
Wilson Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jadyn Cooper, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Alli McCullough, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lebanon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashaunna Rowe, who scored 11 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rowe has scored all season. Naleiya Walker was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
Wilson Central's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Lebanon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-7.
Wilson Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lebanon also has no future games currently scheduled.
