 Despite the  defeat, Herbert Hoover had strong showings from  Braelyn Adkins, who  had 22  digs and three  assists, and  Olivia Huddleston, who  had 15  digs. Adkins has been hot recently, having  posted 12 or more  digs the last four times she's  played.  Macie Smith also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first assist of the season.
  Carley Brewster was a one-woman wrecking crew For Cabell Midland. as she  had 24  digs. Those  24  digs gave  Brewster a new career-high.
Herbert Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 40-5-1. As for Cabell Midland, their win was  their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 26-4-1.
 Coincidentally, Herbert Hoover and Cabell Midland will both be playing Spring Valley the next time they take the court. The Knights will  host the Timberwolves at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 7:00  p.m.
