The Nebraska Lutheran Knights won the last time they faced the High Plains Storm, and things went their way  on Thursday too. Nebraska Lutheran managed a  54-49 win over High Plains.
 Nebraska Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Caleb Eldridge led the charge by  scoring 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Eli Vogt, who  scored nine points along with five  steals.
 Nebraska Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for High Plains, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nebraska Lutheran will take on Shelby-Rising City at 7:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for High Plains, they have the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Heartland on January 16th.
