After flying high against Jefferson last Friday, Diego Rivera came back down to earth. The Huskies fell just short of the Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix by a score of 10-9 on Friday. The Huskies' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Diego Rivera's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Dr. Maya Angelou Community, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Diego Rivera will square off against Los Angeles at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies are facing the Romans at the right time seeing as the Romans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Dr. Maya Angelou Community, they will challenge Santee at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight.
