Northside came out on top against Brookwood on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Rams walked away with an 8-3 win over the Panthers. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Brookwood, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Northside and Brookwood should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Rams (ranked 13th) will meet Bibb County (ranked 68th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Brookwood will take on West Blocton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (100 vs. 276).
