It was fun while it lasted, but Olympic's undefeated season came to an end after ten games on Friday. They took a hard 88-70 fall against the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans. The loss put an end to Olympic's undefeated start to the season.

Olympic's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Randy Johnson, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 20 points. The match was Johnson's third in a row with at least ten points. JD Terrell was another key player, going 7 for 15 on his way to 18 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Olympic fell to 10-1. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Olympic won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Davie at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Olympic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Davie likes a good challenge. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they and Southwest Guilford will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Southwest Guilford will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wesleyan Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
