St. Ignatius is 8-2 against Arlee since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The St. Ignatius Bulldogs are on the road again and play against Arlee at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. St. Ignatius will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Montana Rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Arlee is ranked first).
Last Saturday, St. Ignatius was beaten by Fairfield 95-50.
The losing side was boosted by Landon C walks over ice, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Lex LaFrombois was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Meanwhile, Arlee waltzed into their match Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Hot Springs, posting a 76-36 win on the road.
St. Ignatius' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Arlee, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything went St. Ignatius' way against Arlee in their previous matchup back in February as St. Ignatius made off with a 78-57 victory. Does St. Ignatius have another victory up their sleeve, or will Arlee turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
