Alamosa's leading hitter did his thing again on Saturday. Nobody could stop Jonah Pittman as he scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Alamosa: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

Pittman's strong effort led Alamosa over Pagosa Springs and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Mean Moose are 8-1 against the Pirates going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
