Rehobeth is 1-9 against Carroll since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Rehobeth Rebels will look to defend their home court against the Carroll Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Rehobeth will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 271st, while Carroll is ranked 130th).
Rehobeth waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 68-55 win over Headland. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, Carroll lost to Charles Henderson at home by a decisive 55-40 margin on Tuesday. Carroll has not had much luck with Charles Henderson recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Devon Pruitt, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was N'jia Gosha, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Rehobeth's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Carroll, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7.
Things could have been worse for Rehobeth, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 70-56 loss to Carroll in their previous matchup back in December of 2023.
