The Jay Royals will head out to face off against the Holmes County Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Jay is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Central with a sharp 13-6 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Bridger Hebb looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Jax Lowery and Cooper Harrison did most of the damage at the plate: Lowery got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Harrison went 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Lowery has posted since back in April of 2024. Brison Nelson also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Meanwhile, while Holmes County put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Chipley. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Tigers. The victory was familiar territory for the Blue Devils, who have now won eight matches in a row.
Bradley Garrett made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Garrett was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rayce Griffin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Aiden Justice was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Jay's record is now 17-11. As for Holmes County, their record now sits at 22-4.
